Anita Guerra Galindo

As the first born daughter to Leo and Ruth Guerra, Anita Guerra Galindo entered this world on September 26th 1935 in Delano, CA. Before long Annie was an older sister to siblings: John and Cuca, and had moved to the city of San Fernando where she grew up. She eventually moved to Sylmar and spent the remainder of her life in the San Fernando Valley.

She will be greatly missed by the family she leaves behind: 3 daughters-Lorraine, Cookie, and Roberta, 8 grandchildren-Sandi, Olivia, Jason, Kristina, Randy, Penny, TJ, and Vincent, and her 10 remaining great-grandchildren. Anita was symbolically welcomed into the afterlife on her favorite day – El Dia de Our Lady of Guadalupe (December 12, 2020) and was received by her parents, siblings and a great granddaughter lost earlier this year.

Anita also known as Ann loved to cook and entertain, to spend time with her cousins and to travel with both family and friends. She also loved to dance and most of all always took pride in self-care and looking her best.

She lived 85 beautiful years before she was taken from us and a celebration of her life will follow once restrictions lift and we are allowed to gather together and enjoy family as she would have wanted us to.
