Francisco M. Arrizon was born on January 29, 1929 in Talpa, Jalisco and passed away from natural causes on January 18, 2022 just 10 days shy of his 93rd birthday.
He was a hard-working businessman who lived his life enjoying what he loves best. He became a part of the Laborer Local 300 in 1963. In his 25 years of his career he was involved in many projects that included the 405 Freeway, Bonaventure Hotel Los Angeles, Anheuser Busch in Van Nuys and the Metropolitan Water District Tunnel in Sylmar.
He didn’t fear new opportunities. One of his many business ventures included a livestock farm called “Rancho La Sierra” in Sylmar. There he raised and sold livestock for over 16 years. He also was the proud owner of “Tortilleria La Talpense” in San Fernando. For 16 years this restaurant was popular for it’s authentic Mexican dishes especially their famous Menudo whom held multiple awards in the Menudo Festival in San Fernando.
He was blessed to have come from a big family and proceeded to have a big family of his own. Those that knew him knew his style was classy, with his Italian suits and his original Guayabera from Yucatan. He enjoyed live music and dancing. He loved throwing the biggest parties to unite everyone especially on his birthday. Unfortunately his time had come to celebrate it in Heaven.
Thank you for all the lessons and unique way of loving us. You have left a piece of your personality within us and we will forever be grateful for that. You will be missed.
