Fireworks and Laser Shows will be lighting up the holiday weekend skies across the San Fernando Valley.
The City of San Fernando will host a “Red, White and Lights” laser light show on Saturday, July 2, at the downtown San Fernando Mall, starting at 6:30 p.m. Besides food vendors and arts-and-crafts vendors, live music will be provided by Tina Michelle and the Rhinestone Cowboys along with line dancing demonstrations. Other family activities include carnival games and slot car racing. The laser light show begins at 9 p.m.

On Monday, July 4, Shepherd Church in Porter Ranch will have a fireworks show beginning at 9 p.m. Parking is available around the church but tailgating is not permitted. The Sunland-Tujunga Neighborhood Council is hosting the Drone Light and Festival show at the Hansen Dam baseball and soccer fields, located at 11658 Foothill Boulevard in Lake View Terrace, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on July 4. The event will feature live music, food vendors, and resource booths before the drones light show begins at dusk. And in Woodland Hills, Councilman Bob Blumenfield’s July 4th Extravaganza on Monday, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., will feature a free concert by the 12-member group The Convertibles and a 20-minute fireworks show at Warner Park, located at 5800 Topanga Canyon Boulevard. Arts and crafts vendors, and food vendors, will be on hand. General admission is free but VIP tickets must be purchased by July 1.
