How and Where to Vote
For the Nov. 8 General Municipal Election, voters will have three options to cast their ballots:
— At a Vote Center: voters can cast or drop-off their voted ballot at any Vote Center throughout the County. Select Vote Centers will be open as early as Saturday, Oct. 29, and all Vote Centers will be open on Saturday, November 5, 2022, through Election Day, Tuesday, November 8, 2022. Voters will receive three mailers: their official sample ballot, a booklet of all Vote Center locations, and a postcard identifying the three closest Vote Center locations and VBM drop-boxes. Find locations at https://locator.lavote.gov/.
— At a Ballot Drop-Box: voters can also securely drop off their voted ballot at any of the 400 Ballot Drop Box locations throughout the County through Election Day. Find the nearest locations at https://locator.lavote.gov/locations/vbm;
— By Mail: voters can mail their ballot in until Election Day, Nov. 8 (if postmarked by Election Day and received within seven days, it will be accepted).
