Salvatore Genaro Del Gaudio died peacefully in his sleep on September 24th, 2026. He was 44 years old. He is survived by his two parents Salvatore Del Gaudio and Camerina Del Gaudio, along with his six siblings Anna Becerra, Cesar Castaneda, Gabriella Del Gaudio, Richard Del Gaudio, Alexandra Del Gaudio, and Daniela Del Gaudio.
Salvatore was born at Holy Cross Hospital in Mission Hills, CA. He was the favorite uncle to more than 20 nieces and nephews, and Godfather to many of his friends’ children as well. He grew up very active in sports, playing Little League throughout his youth and High School Football for the San Fernando Tigers. During which he made long lasting friendships that he maintained until the day he died.
These friendships turned into a brotherhood and he was always known as the one they could call and count on in their time of need. He was a man that didn’t have or need many things, but he had a big heart and was generous with everything he did have, most importantly his time.
Within the last few years of his life he developed a strong belief in God and attended bible study almost daily. This faith brings the family the most peace, knowing he will be waiting for them on the other side. He will be missed dearly.
