Best of The San Fernando Valley 2026

Best of San Fernando Valley is a community-driven Readers’ Choice Awards program created to uplift and recognize the local businesses that serve our Valley every day. Through nominations and public voting, residents decide who earns the title of “Best” across a wide range of categories.

Step 1: Nomination Round

March

Readers may nominate businesses, organizations, and individuals in any category. Only one qualified nomination is required for a nominee to advance to the voting round. Nominations are reviewed and approved before appearing on the ballot.

Step 2: Voting Round

April

During the voting period, readers may vote once per day in each category. To ensure fairness, voters must cast votes in at least five different categories for their ballot to count.

The nominee with the highest number of votes in each category will be named Best of San Fernando Valley. Second- and third-place recipients will be recognized as finalists.

Step 3: Winners Announced

May

Winners and finalists will be formally announced following the close of voting.

Recognized businesses will be:

• Featured in a special Winners Edition
• Highlighted across The San Fernando Valley Sun’s digital platforms

Being named “Best of San Fernando Valley” represents community trust, recognition, and excellence within the Valley.

The Best of San Fernando Valley Awards present a unique opportunity for organizations to align with one of the Valley’s most engaging community initiatives.

As a sponsor, your brand is placed directly in front of thousands of highly engaged readers during nomination and voting periods — when businesses and residents are actively participating, returning daily, and sharing the experience across the Valley.

This three-month campaign provides sustained visibility, meaningful brand association, and direct access to a local audience that lives, shops, and supports businesses in the San Fernando Valley.
