opening for a President and
General Manager in Sun Valley, CA.
Duties: Dvlp & execute a strat for
growth. Lead sales efforts & execute
a plan that identifies new target
markets. Work w/ the mgmt team on
plans and recruitment. Understand
customer & vendor contracts;
negotiate areas of risks. Review &
approve cost control rprts, cost
estimates & facilities reqs. Monitor
plating qlty, internal & ext. nonconformances,
& spprt NADCAP
audits. Among other duties. Reqs:
Bachelor’s Deg in Chem Engg, or a
rltd field, or frgn equiv. 6 yrs of exp in
job offered as President & General
Mgr, or any occupation in which the
req exp was gained. Must have 6 yrs
of exp in the following:
· Exp in the electroplating ind.
· Running a mfg shop & meeting
targets, incl 5 yrs in managerial role.
· Working w/ wet chemistry & hull cell
test & salt spray test for
electroplating bath; calculating to
meet reqs; preparing recipes to add
chemicals & additives; dsgn &
construction of racks & fixtures to
plate parts; use of inspection tools; &
completing visual inspection.
· Working w/ budgets & staff
planning/forecasting & mngng labor
to ensure profitability.
· Supporting P&L, costing & pricing
mdels, & inventory mgmt.
· Working to dvlp teams w/ dept.
leaders & personnel.
· Reading drawings & specs,
identifying area, materials, rack
selection & sequence of process,
determining densities & number of
parts to be plated.
· Working w/ qlty & envrmnt mgmt
sys in accord w/ Qlty Mgmt Sys
and/or NADCAP/ISO 9001
accreditations.
· Working w/ metal finishing
processes for aerospace and/or
commercial industries.
Must be willing to trvl 35% domestic
and int’l trvl (Canada).
