For those who have been impacted by the fires raging through Los Angeles and in need of supplies, Campbell Hall School in Studio City is providing free resources for anyone who comes in.

Starting on Thursday, Jan. 9, Campbell Hall has been giving away supplies that were donated by those in the community. These items include soap, clothing, shoes, bottled water, nonperishable snacks, masks and bedding. Showers are also available, as well as charging stations for electronic devices.

Hilary Rehder, director of strategic marketing and communications for Campbell Hall, said that within just a couple of hours of putting the call out to the community for donations, almost all of their needs were met.

“The call to action was immediately responsive by so many from our community, including a lot of young alumni and current students, who showed up and said, ‘Let us help,’ which speaks volumes to the type of students we have at our school,” Rehder said. “A lot of students are helping sort and distribute these items to people in need.”

These distributions are only for a limited time, however, as the last day is tomorrow between 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Afterwards, the items that haven’t been donated will be given to other organizations in need, although which ones have not yet been decided.

Campbell Hall is located on 4533 Laurel Canyon Blvd., and the supplies are located in the lower gym.
