Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 3, and San Fernando Valley residents still have time to make their voices heard in the 2026 general election.
Haven’t voted yet? Not sure where to drop off your ballot or find a nearby voting center? The Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk provides an interactive map to help voters locate official ballot drop boxes and voting centers throughout the county.
Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Election Day. Vote-by-mail ballots can also be returned to an official drop box or voting center by 8 p.m.
Here are some resources to help you participate in this year’s election.

CalMatters My Ballot Tool
CalMatters, a nonprofit, nonpartisan news organization, offers a free interactive tool called My Ballot to help California voters make informed decisions ahead of Election Day.
By entering their address, voters can see the candidates, propositions and local measures appearing on their specific ballot. The tool provides information about statewide and local races, allows users to explore candidates and ballot measures, and lets them save their selections as a reference when completing their official ballot.
The tool does not cast or submit votes. Instead, it serves as a personalized voter guide to help residents understand their choices before heading to the polls or turning in their ballots.
